Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClassyBattle mobile application and related services ("ClassyBattle", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account, enter paid tournaments, or hold a wallet balance. By registering, you confirm that participating in skill-based tournaments with entry fees is lawful in your state or country of residence.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information and verify your account via the one-time email code sent during sign-up.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
One account per person. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts may be suspended without notice.

3. Tournaments & Entry Fees

Tournament formats, entry fees, room details, and prize distribution are shown in-app before you join and are final once a match begins.
Entry fees are deducted from your in-app wallet at the time of registration and are non-refundable except where a tournament is cancelled by ClassyBattle.
Room ID and password are released at the scheduled time and are for registered participants only — sharing them with non-participants may result in disqualification.

4. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat

Use of cheats, exploits, emulators where prohibited, smurf accounts, teaming against the rules, or any form of match manipulation is strictly forbidden. Violations may result in forfeiture of winnings, wallet suspension, and permanent account termination.

5. Wallet, Payments & Withdrawals

The in-app wallet is used solely for tournament entry fees and prize/winnings credit.
Withdrawal requests are reviewed before payout and may require identity or payment-method verification.
ClassyBattle may hold, delay, or reject a withdrawal where fraud, chargebacks, or a Terms violation is suspected.

6. Prizes

Prize pools and per-rank payouts are calculated as displayed on the Tournament Details screen at the time of the match. Prizes are credited to your wallet after results are verified, which may take up to a few business days.

7. Conduct

You agree not to harass other users, impersonate any person or entity, upload harmful content, or attempt to interfere with the platform's normal operation, including its servers or backend infrastructure.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the platform. Wallet balances tied to a terminated account for cause may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

9. Disclaimer

ClassyBattle is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any particular tournament will run as scheduled, though we make reasonable efforts to keep the platform reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassyBattle and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including losses related to tournament outcomes or connectivity issues during a match.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ClassyBattle collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to the ClassyBattle mobile app and its backend services.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: name, email address, and a hashed password, collected at sign-up and verified via email OTP.
Profile data: in-game IDs, chosen avatar, and tournament game profiles you add.
Transaction data: wallet top-ups, entry fee payments, prize payouts, and withdrawal requests.
Usage data: tournaments joined, match results, and app interactions used to run leaderboards and stats.
Device data: a push-notification token (via Firebase) so we can deliver room details and match alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and secure your account, and verify your identity via OTP.
To operate tournaments — registration, room assignment, scoring, and prize settlement.
To process wallet transactions and withdrawal requests, including fraud and duplicate-payment checks.
To send transactional notifications: match reminders, room details, and payout confirmations.
To maintain leaderboards and moderate the platform against cheating and abuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:

Infrastructure providers that host our database and file storage.
Firebase for push notifications.
Email delivery providers for OTP and transactional emails.
Payment processors to facilitate wallet top-ups and withdrawals.
Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by applicable law.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions use JWT access and refresh tokens, and sensitive wallet operations are protected against duplicate processing and race conditions. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

6. Your Choices

You can update your profile and game IDs any time from the app.
You can disable push notifications from your device settings.
You can request account deletion by contacting support; some transaction records may be retained as required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

ClassyBattle is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from users who do not meet the eligibility age in these Terms.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
